About locoregional recurrence risk after lipofilling in breast cancer patients.

The evidences from this study show that patients treated with lipofilling (22 patients, with a  follow-up of 3 years before and 3 years after lipofilling) show no recurrence of breast cancer.

This evidence let us to consider that the lipofilling is not a risk factor after surgery for ductal carcinoma in situ. On that basis we think that lipofilling is a safe procedure and that it can be used in every case, regardless of the histology of the tumor.
